i think this is my favourite far cry game

I just got far cry 2 and honestly until about 2 or 3 months ago I knew nothing about it and that's a shame because it's so gnarly lol. It's just a raw experience. If you dont play it you'll never understand it. Thank you for the awesome videos, sorry I'm late lmao

It’s funny how with wooden some of the dialogue in this game is, the game itself has the most soul and character of any in the franchise. It is a unique experience and the only far cry game I have ever gone back to play again, then again, and maybe one more time.

you can snipe with silent makarov by using dragunov scope to aim and immideatly switch to makarov

I just run fast enough, and drop a bomb near the target and then jump into the river and trigger the bomb, I think I did it stealthily one time but was extremely hard to do, required many loads till I had the perfect enemies positions so I can reach the target.

Far cry 2 feels immersive in a way no other FPS does to me. Everything feels like it could be real. There are no gimmicky abilities like seeing through walls, no XP or levelling, and all the enemies are humans, but it still avoids feeling like a simulator, like Arma 3

Sneaky. Shooting through walls with X-ray vision - see how they like it for a change! I usually take out the initial guards, then stand to the east with a clear line-of-sight through the door and dart him. It's just a short dash to the handglider for a quick escape. They might clip me, but it's usually safe passage away. I also collect the diamond on the inaccessible ridge at the same time. 😁👍

Nice run, really enjoyed watching it. Here's an idea: try playing with no healing during the missions. So, relying just on five bars of health and rescue buddies if needed. I doubt it would be possible to do a full run like that, but it's a fun way to play the game with saves before the missions.

Is there a mod that removes malaria and gun degradation too?

The goons started firing at you because you entered one of the restricted red zones in Mosate Selao. Some suggestions for other runs: Use only the (four?) gold-plated AKs. No other guns. Grenades & Molotovs OK. I've done it, though not on Infamous. Use only found and free weapons from Safe Houses and NPCs. Buying upgrades and buffs is OK. Ammo piles etc OK too.

I used stealth mostly in the road, to avoid or clear the mercenary outpost, luckily you get one of the best weapons in the game by the second mission, the rifle, that was my weapon of choice, so I could shoot in larger distance and the hide away meanwhile the other mercenaries try to find me or do a lucky shoot to a missile launcher, hell, I even shoot a patrol coming in my way after my vehicle broke, he didn't even realise that I was there, but pistols with suppressors are very crappy in this game, not worth your time.

Stealth build is the first thing that i tried in this game. Idk what it is but it just works and for the most part it makes sense. Then i got the flamethrower and just burning everything is even more fun >:)

it's kind of funny when you shoot with makarov pistol,the sound comes from another weapon,like AR-16.But the most funny thing, AR-16 it sounds like a shotgun 😅🤣

I personally used alot of IEDs when I got them to solve problems. Especially vehicles. But I could also walk through situations with the Springfield. It's where quickscoping originated.
